As with almost everything else, the camera club was forced to retreat from our weekly meetings in Raheny GAA Club to the safety of our own homes. The Corona Virus had taken a hold of our everyday life and meetings were suspended. Thankfully our competitions committee, determined to finish out the league, took on the reins of the club and organised weekly Zoom meetings. It was a great success and enjoyed by many of our members, allowing them to keep up with their photography friends and inspiring them to keep taking photographs.
We had some great speakers and judges and even managed to have the end of year party and pub quiz online. Huge thanks to Blath McDonnell, Anne Nathan, David Carbery and Andy Nathan for all their hard work throughout this time. It is greatly appreciated by all members of the club.
