All The World’s A Stage was the theme for this year’s Inter Club Competition which took place upstairs in Donaghmede Shopping Centre on the 19th February. It was a wonderful event with a healthy attendance of hopeful photographers from five local camera clubs, all waiting to see the results of judging by husband and wife team, Eamon and Christine O’ Day.

There was great excitement as the results were called out. Four members received honorable mentions: Billy White, Sharon Hughes, Cian Burgess and Owen O’Connor. Dom O’Brien was highly commended. Jennifer Whelan was awarded 5th place. Cian Burgess was awarded 3rd place. And Liz Stowe was the overall winner with 1st place. It was a fantastic night for Raheny Camera Club and we are very grateful to our Exhibitions Committee, Cian Burgess, Birgit Kretschmann and Aidan O’Reilly for all their hard work in pulling it together.

We would also like to thank DCC, Donaghmede Shopping Centre and Bermingham Cameras for very generously sponsoring the competition. It was a very enjoyable evening and we look forward to next years’ event!
